360-degree feedback assessment
Feedback from managers, peers and team members on how a leader works.
A 360-degree feedback assessment gathers views on a leader from their manager, peers, team members and sometimes clients. It gives a rounded picture of strengths and blind spots that a leader rarely sees alone.
Who it is for: Managers, leaders, high-potential staff and HR teams.
Timeline: 1–4 weeks, and can be extended depending on the scope of the assessment.
When to use it
- As part of a leadership development programme.
- After a promotion, once the leader has settled in.
- When a leader would like a clearer view of their impact.
What we measure
- Leadership behaviours: Raters assess the leader on agreed leadership behaviours, such as setting direction and developing people.
- Communication and relationships: Feedback covers how the leader communicates, listens and builds working relationships.
- Delivery and decision-making: Raters assess how the leader plans, delivers results and makes decisions.
- Strengths and blind spots: The report compares self-ratings with others' views to highlight strengths and blind spots.
